Prints for sale

Photographed while travelling through Japan and New York City, these images were made simply by walking, looking and responding to what was around me. Without a brief or a predetermined shot list, I allowed myself to slow down, follow instinct and photograph without overthinking.

For me, the series is a reminder that sometimes the most interesting photographs happen when you stop looking for them.

Ocean Beach House

A modern farmhouse with a European accent, this retreat at Ocean Beach in Te Matau-a-Māui/Hawke’s Bay, designed by brigitchristiestudio and built by BNL Construction for owner Judith Markus, is shaped by friendship, framed by the sea, and grounded in material simplicity. Soft light and solid forms define the interior, where natural stone, linen and wood create a calming canvas for pieces old and new.⁠
